Chris Leaman
Owner / President

As a second-generation owner, Chris leads the organization. Prior to joining the family business in 2004, Chris spent ten years with Tyco Electronics in a variety of product design and business development roles. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Grove City College and an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He has a passion for excellence and is thankful for the opportunity he has as a business owner to have a positive impact on our people and our community.

Outside of the office, Chris is an active member of Grace Church at Willow Valley. He lives in West Lampeter Township with his wife, Alison, and two daughters, Anne and Laura. Being a husband and father keeps him very busy, but in his free time, Chris enjoys traveling (especially to new destinations with his wife), working on projects around his house and in his yard, playing games with his family, walking in the woods with his two golden retrievers and playing golf.


Doug Bomberger
Director of Commercial and Residential Construction

Having been a business owner, Doug brings a unique blend of experience. He’s been responsible for growth, leadership, and support. He also has sales and project management experience in the building material industry. As a civic-minded individual, Doug participated and provided a leadership role in numerous community organizations and committees.

Doug is a member of the Lititz Moravian Church, is a passionate hiker and bicyclist, is an ardent supporter of those who serve in our United States Military. He seeks daily to carry our the core values of JK Mechanical.




Janet Long

Janet is responsible for our financial team and manages the assets of our company. She is a stickler for processes and procedures. With more than 25 years of professional experience in accounting and business management, Janet brings the knowledge and administrative structure to the JK Team. As part of her role, Janet manages all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, inventory, purchasing, fleet, and tools.

Janet has been married to her husband Ted for more than 30 years. They have a married daughter, two sons, and 3 dogs. She is a member of Grace Church at Willow Valley, and also serves on the board of Children’s Fellowship of India.



Ken Northeimer
Residential Service Manager

Ken leads the JK team of residential service technicians and is responsible for managing all aspects of our residential service operations, as well as service sales and business development. Ken started in the industry as a teenager working summers and remains as passionate and committed today as he was then.

Ken is a father of two and enjoys golf, movies, music, and auctions. Ken wishes he had more free time to work in his woodshop, spoil his grandchildren, and take more trips to Lancaster Central Market with his wife, Doris.

Matthew Kemper
Comfort Consultant

As a sales consultant, Matt specializes in designing heating and air conditioning systems that are unique to each of our client’s specific needs. With more than 21 years of heating and air conditioning experience, Matt can provide a wide variety of smart heating and cooling solutions for any application or budget.

Matt lives in Drumore with his wife Shannon and their six children. As a family they enjoy vacations, watching movies, trips to the park, and attending church. Matt’s other interests include fishing, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors.




Dan Senft
Comfort Consultant

Dan has over 20 years of experience in various residential heating and cooling designs and solutions. In those 20 years, Dan has helped thousands of clients find the best choice for their home’s comfort and energy saving needs. Dan likes to approach each customer request and find the correct solution as if it were his own home.

Dan lives with his wife, Chrissy, and their two English bulldogs in York. Dan has two sons and a daughter. Dan enjoys running, grilling, and relaxing outside with family and friends.




Jason Stark
Home Services Specialist

As JK Mechanical’s residential Home Services Specialist, Jason Stark specializes in Generac Generator and Solar design and sales. Jason has been a part of the JK team for over 17 years after starting as an HVAC installer.

Jason lives in Holtwood with his beautiful wife Jodie and their sweet daughter Jayleigh. They attend Freedom Life Church and enjoy spending time outdoors.




Connie Hess
Sales Coordinator

Connie has been part of the JK team for over 10 years. She has worked with HVAC Service, Client Relations, and now serves our clients as the Sales Coordinator for our Installation Team. Connie enjoys helping our clients through the installation process beginning to end.

Connie lives in Willow Street with her husband Glen. She has two adult children and a beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys taking long walks, entertaining, & traveling but is most happy spending time with her family and friends.




Robert Clement
Project Manager

Rob is a valued member of the family at JK Mechanical utilizing his vast experience in the field of HVAC to manage our team members in the execution of HVAC replacements and additions. Rob has more than a decade of “in the field” experience that allows him to ensure our customers have an exceptional JK experience.

Outside the office, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Jamie, and their two little girls. He enjoys taking hikes in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside, as well as being an avid hunter.




Casey Blackwell
Plumbing Manager

Casey has over 15 years’ experience in the plumbing field, ranging from residential service and new construction to commercial construction. He learned the trade through hands-on experience as well as through ABC’s apprenticeship program. He owned and operated Blackwell Mechanical for over 6 years before heading up the JK Plumbing team. He takes pride in his work and strives to do every job to the best of his ability. His responsibilities at JK Plumbing include overseeing all aspects of the Plumbing department including service, new construction, and project management.

Casey has been married to his beautiful wife Emily for 12 years. They reside in New Holland with their two daughters, Lilly and Addy. Casey is an avid hunter who loves the outdoors and spending time with his family at their cabin. When not in the woods, he enjoys watching football and baseball. His family also attends Mt. Zion UMC where he coaches the church’s slow-pitch softball team.

Brian Shimp

Technical and Training Director

Brian Shimp has been a valued member of the JK Mechanical team since we were called JK Enterprises in 1988. With over 33 years of experience, Brian has spent time working as a helper, an installer, a service technician, the service manager, and now serves as the JK Technical and Training Director in order to share his wealth of knowledge with the JK Team. Brian has his Universal EPA certification as well as NATE certifications in Heat Pump Service, Gas/Air Service, and Geothermal Installation and Service.

Brian lives in Strasburg with his wife and son. He hopes to be a part of this great team for years to come.





Commercial Sales and Management



Fred Bentley
Commercial HVAC Estimator

Fred joined JK Mechanical in 2015 and brings years of experience in estimating and managing commercial HVAC projects. Having earned the Penn State Certification for Project Management, this resident of the Lancaster area for 54 years loves his family. He has been married for 33 years, has five children and 4 grandchildren.

Dave Harnish
Commercial Department Project Manager

The one-time Operations Manager for all of JK Mechanical, Dave has now turned his attention to Commercial HVAC Install and is the Project Manager for all Commercial HVAC construction projects. Dave has been with JK Mechanical for 28 years and when not at work, enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, and mountain biking.

Chris Broyles
Commercial Service Manager

Chris has more than 21 years of experience in the HVAC industry. It is his goal to provide cost-effective, green service alternatives tailor-made for our clients’ needs. Chris is OSHA 30, NFPA70E, and EPA 40CFR certified.

Chris has a very active 6-year-old son, Aaron. When he isn’t running after his son, Chris develops BroylesLinux and enjoys playing video games.
