Chris Leaman
Owner / President

As a second-generation owner, Chris leads the organization. Prior to joining the family business in 2004, Chris spent ten years with Tyco Electronics in a variety of product design and business development roles. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Grove City College and an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He has a passion for excellence and is thankful for the opportunity he has as a business owner to have a positive impact on our people and our community.

Outside of the office, Chris is an active member of Grace Church at Willow Valley. He lives in West Lampeter Township with his wife, Alison, and two daughters, Anne and Laura. Being a husband and father keeps him very busy, but in his free time, Chris enjoys traveling (especially to new destinations with his wife), working on projects around his house and in his yard, playing games with his family, walking in the woods with his two golden retrievers and playing golf.

Tim Heitz
Director of Commercial and Residential Construction

Tim brings a unique blend of experience to our team, overseeing the commercial and residential construction divisions and serving on the strategic leadership team. Prior to joining JK, Tim provided leadership to the advancement efforts at Lancaster Bible College and served as president of Superior Walls of America. In addition to his sales experience, Tim’s faith led him to The United Methodist Church where he served as full-time pastor for 19 years and an additional four years as a part-time pastor.

When not at work, Tim and his wife of more than 30 years, Julie, enjoy camping in their pop-up camper and spending time with their parents, three children and their grandchildren. Tim frequently guest preaches on Sunday mornings and when not preaching elsewhere, helps provide music leadership at his home church, Hopeland UMC. When spare time permits, home projects and music are Tim’s relaxation methods.

Ronda Chaney
Director of Residential Services

As Director of Residential Services, Ronda leads our team providing products and services to residential homeowners. A people person, Ronda’s goal is to make sure every client has a good experience. Over the years, Ronda has had the opportunity to experience many aspects of business by working with start-up businesses, as well as well-established companies with an annual revenue over $12 million. These opportunities provided her valuable experience in management, leadership, human resource, client relations, coaching/mentoring, marketing/advertising and general administration. Ronda has accreditations in several professional counseling training programs and leadership training.

Ronda considers her greatest accomplishments to be her 20-year marriage to her husband, Tom and raising their two precious twin sons, Thomas and William. In her free time you may catch Ronda at a college baseball game watching either son pitch, running, or relaxing with her close-knit family. She attends Victory Church of Lancaster, and loves caring for others.

Janet Long
Controller

Janet is responsible for our financial team and manages the assets of our company. She is a stickler for processes and procedures. With more than 25 years of professional experience in accounting, and business management, Janet brings the knowledge and administrative structure to the JK Team. As part of her role, Janet manages all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, purchasing, fleet, and tools.

Janet is passionate about her husband, children and is an absolute die-hard Phillies fan. She is member of Grace Church at Willow Valley, where she enjoys singing with the worship team and serving on the Global Outreach Team. Janet also serves on the board of Children’s Fellowship of India. In her free time she enjoys cheering on her children in their sports endeavors and watching her beloved Phil’s.

Jeannette Heckman
Director of Human Resources

Jeannette oversees recruiting, benefit administration, compensation, employee relations, safety, professional development and compliance as part of the Leadership Team. She holds a BS in Management and Organizational Development from Eastern Mennonite University and has her SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. Her passion is to assist others in surpassing their professional goals.

Jeannette serves on the board of Mom’s House of Lancaster and assists her husband, Jim, in leading marriage mentoring at Grace Community church of Willow Street, where he is the Counseling and Congregational Care Pastor. They have two daughters, Emily and Brittany, and five active grandchildren. She loves to read, travel and especially spend time with family and friends.

Ken Northeimer
Residential Service Manager

Ken leads the JK team of residential service technicians, and is responsible for managing all aspects of our residential service operations, as well as service sales and business development. Ken started in the industry as a teenager working summers and remains as passionate and committed today as he was then.

Ken is a father of two, and enjoys golf, movies, music, and auctions. Ken wishes he had more free time to work in his woodshop, spoil his grandchildren, and take more trips to Lancaster Central Market with his wife, Doris.

Residential Sales and Management

Matthew Kemper
Comfort Consultant

As a sales consultant, Matt specializes in designing heating and air conditioning systems that are unique to each of our client’s specific needs. With more than 13 years of heating and air conditioning experience Matt can provide a wide variety of smart heating and cooling solutions.

Matt lives in Drumore with his wife, Angela, and their four children, Gwenyth, Noah, Ellenora, and Lyla. As a family they enjoy vacations, watching movies, trips to the park, and attending church. Matt’s other interests include fishing, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors.

Dan Senft
Comfort Consultant

Dan has over 15 years of experience in various residential heating and cooling designs and solutions. In those 15 years, Dan has helped thousands of clients find the best choice for their home’s comfort and energy saving needs. Dan likes to approach each customer request and find the correct solution as if it were his own home.

Dan lives with his wife, Chrissy, and their two English bulldogs in York. Dan has two sons and a daughter. Dan enjoys running, grilling, and relaxing outside with family and friends.

Chris Thomas
Comfort Consultant

As a sales consultant for HVAC additions and renovation projects, HVAC replacements and solar installations, Chris understands smart energy solutions. With more than 18 years of experience, radiant floor heat and all types of hot water heat are his specialty. After many years in the industry, Chris still enjoys finding a solution for even the most complex project. Chris is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College.

Chris lives in Conestoga with his wife, Hannah and their five sons. As a family they enjoy hiking, swimming and camping trips. They are active members of Harvest Bible Chapel Lancaster where Chris serves as a small group leader.

Robert Clement
Project Manager

Rob is valued member of the family at JK Mechanical utilizing his vast experience in the field of HVAC to manage our team members in the execution of HVAC replacements and additions. Rob has more than a decade of “in the field” experience that allows him to ensure our customers have an exceptional JK experience.

Outside the office, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Jamie and their two little girls. He enjoys taking hikes in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside, as well as being an avid hunter.

Rob Dippner
Solar and Electrical Sales Consultant

Rob has over 15 years of experience in the electrical, plumbing and HVAC fields in installation and management of projects. He brings leadership and excitement to the solar, generator and electrical sales team.

Rob lives in Lancaster, PA in the Conestoga Valley school district. Outside of the office, Rob enjoys his family and time spent together. His wife Kristina, sons Hayden and Jackson, and daughter Lea are huge part of his everyday life. Rob loves coaching his son’s sports teams in football, basketball, and baseball. He also enjoys hunting.

Casey Blackwell
Plumbing Manager

Casey has over 12 years’ experience in the plumbing field, ranging from residential service and new construction to commercial construction. He learned the trade through hands on experience as well as through ABC’s apprenticeship program. He owned and operated Blackwell Mechanical for over 6 years before heading up the JK Plumbing team. He takes pride in his work and strives to do every job to the best of his ability. His responsibilities at JK Plumbing include overseeing all aspects of the Plumbing department including service, new construction and project management.

Casey has been married to his beautiful wife Emily for 8 years. They reside in New Holland with their two daughters, Lilly and Addy. Casey is an avid hunter who loves the outdoors and spending time with his family at their cabin. When not in the woods, he enjoys watching football and baseball. His family also attends Mt. Zion UMC where he serves as the Trustee Chairperson and coaches the churches slow-pitch softball team. To unwind, he enjoys working in the lawn and around his home.

Commercial Sales and Management

Michael S. Diehl Sr.
Commercial Electrical Manager

Mike is responsible for both sales and project management of JK Electrical. With more than 24 years in commercial, residential and industrial electric, he has the knowledge to successfully manage a project of any size. Starting as an apprentice in 1989, Mike advanced to foreman and then into management in 2006. He holds a Maryland Master Electrical License and a 3-year degree in Pastoral Studies.

Mike credits his education in helping him develop the people skills necessary for good client and employee relationships. Mike lives near Lititz and enjoys spending time with his family, including his three children and two grandsons. When not doting on his children and grandsons, Mike can be found hunting, fishing or enjoying the outdoors.

Fred Bentley
Commercial HVAC Estimator

Fred Bentley, Commercial HVAC EstimatorFred joined JK Mechanical in 2015 and brings years of experience estimating and managing commercial HVAC projects. Having earned the Penn State Certification for Project Management, this resident of the Lancaster area for 54 years, loves his family. He has been married for 33 years, has five children and 4 grandchildren.

Dave Harnish
Commercial Department Project Manager

Dave Harnish, Commercial Department Project ManagerThe one-time Operations Manager for all of JK Mechanical, Dave turned all of his attention about ten years ago, to the work of our commercial division. Dave has been with JK Mechanical for 24 years and when not at work, enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting and mountain biking.

Stacie Drebenstedt
Commercial Administrative Assistant

Stacie Drebenstedt, Commercial Administrative AssistantStacie has been a member of the team since mid 2014. Stacie holds a Legal Administrative Assistant Degree from Consolidated School of Business. Born & raised in Lancaster County, Stacie is a proud Mom of two sons. She enjoys reading, international movies, a variety of music (including her collection of 78’s she plays on her beloved Victor Victrola up to whatever her children have introduced her to recently). Time spent with her family playing card/board games are some of her favorites. She also participates in the Hershey Walk to Defeat ALS in honor of her Step-Dad, Rick.

Chris Broyles, Senior Commercial Service TechnicianChris lives in Hershey with his wife Lauren, and their very active 3 year old son, Aaron. When he isn’t running after his son, Chris develops BroylesLinux and enjoys playing video games.
